Letters To A Bullied Bus Monitor - A Karen Klein Story

As part of my commitment to developing educational content around the issue of bullying through my foundation and story, I am looking for detailed heartfelt letters from people in the US and around the world –– children, teenagers, and adults –– who have been bullied. I want to include the most compelling and instructive letters in my bullying book with seasoned journalist & author of eight books Patricia Burstein. In-depth accounts of playground and workplace bullying, and cyberbullying would be useful.

Those interested in submitting letters should send to:

Steps For Submitting An Anti-Bullying Idea Proposal

Step 1: Your proposal materials must be accompanied by a signed proposal release form and an informational summary sheet. Project54Tour can not review a proposal until these forms are on file.

- Download a submission summary & educational content release form or email submissions@karenkleinfoundation.org to request this form.

Proposals are evaluated on an ongoing basis. They are judged on many criteria, including (but not confined to) the quality of the proposal or completed work, the credentials of the production team, the needs of the schedule, and the financial request to Karen Klein Anti-Bullying Foundation. All projects for consideration will fall within the process that is described below. Projects that are unique and timely in nature will receive immediate attention, but Project54Tour will determine, in its sole discretion, which programs and proposals fall into this category.

The submission process begins with an initial review by our program development team. Because the number of proposals we receive varies greatly, we do not have a standard time-frame in place for a response. We are committed, however, to contacting educational content providers about their proposed projects as quickly as possible, usually within 4-6 weeks.

Following the initial review, if a program meets our standards and mission, then it is forwarded to a cross-disciplinary team for consideration. This group then discusses the recommended titles, identifying any outstanding questions and/or materials, and determines which projects should move forward for development and/or funding. Educational content providers are notified shortly thereafter.

During the submission round meetings, programs and proposals are approved for development and/or funding, and all final greenlighting decisions are made. Educational content providers are notified shortly thereafter.
